Guoqiang, will you still love me if I am a bad cook and/or wife? :(

Successfully cooked a pot of porridge with help from google............. Almost burnt some of the rice and then proceeded to overflow the pot twice (or was it thrice) the stove buttons were utterly deceiving and i think i switched it on and off about 10 times.
